I would like to tell you something about my live here in Torbay, because I think the experience that I'm living is quite exciting but also quite rare.
I came here on 27th of August with Educatius. I have to admit that the first times were really difficult to me. I mean, everything was different, everything seemed to be against my tradition. The food was completely different and my belly was refusing to eat it. So I was really homesick. But do not be scared. Now I feel as never before. I understood that keeping yourself busy it's something really important because it will help you not to think about your home country. I visited some cities around Brixham (where I live) and everything seems awesome. Now I wouldn't like to come back. I've seen a bit of Paignton and Torquay. We went even in Dartmouth, which is the most beautiful town in all torbay. It was like being in a film, with all these coloured houses and nice landscapes (and lots of sheeps). Anyway, if you ever get bored and you don't know what to do, don't worry, torbay has lots of opportunities you can get.
I went to the Torquay bowling with some friends and I think it's a good way to spend the afternoon (I won!!! And I ended to be in the "Today's top scores"!!!)
The travelling to the school is not that bad, the buses come really often and they are really AWESOME. Ah, I almost forgot, I'm going to Churston Ferrers Grammar School (the best! ahah).
School gave us Google Chromebooks to study and we can take it at home and wherever we want. We will have to give them back at the end of the year though (obviously).
This is my timetable, i'm doing 4 a-level subjects:
Next week I'm going to try Go karting!! Maybe it will be a good reason for another post!
See you soon,
